A joint meeting with the Kent Field Club to study the fauna and flora of the saltmarshes, sea wall, dykes and disturbed ground next to the road crossings to the Isle of Sheppey.
Meet by the roadside on the old Kingsferry Road (B2231) on the island side at TQ917696. The old Sheppey road is accessed by taking the turning left to Ridham Docks off the A249 dual carriageway just as the road steepens to go over the Swale. Continue on the road under The Sheppey Crossing and across the lifting bridge to the other side. This road can also be accessed from the A249 on the Sheppey side by turning right at the first roundabouts.
