BENHS REGIONAL MEETING AT WORLD MUSEUM LIVERPOOL

LOCAL & NATIONAL MOTH RECORDING

As well as being an opportunity to see the museum’s entomological collections, this one-day meeting will focus on moth recording. The day will include talks and informal discussion on the Moths Count project led by Butterfly Conservation, local and national moth recording and studies on important species in our region.

World Museum Liverpool is a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street station - Liverpool's mainline train station. Simply leave the concourse via the exit closest to the ticket office (this route is also suitable for those requiring level access) . You come out on Lord Nelson Street, facing the side of the Empire Theatre. Turn left out onto Lime Street (St George's Hall is opposite). Go right along Lime Street, past the Empire Theatre. Cross Lime Street at the pedestrian crossing near the theatre (going towards the fountain), and walk down William Brown Street. The museum is along on the right.

There is limited pay and display parking outside the museum on William Brown Street. There is a small pay and display car park on Hunter Street, behind the museum and beneath the flyover. The nearest other car park is at Queen Square.

Doors open at 10am, on arrival please ask for Guy Knight at the Information Desk inside the museum atrium.
