THE JOURNAL

The British Journal of Entomology and Natural History is published four times per year and is issued free to all members (current price £25-00 p.a. for non members). The contents of the Journal includes:

• original articles and papers on entomological matters
• short communications and observations
• proceedings and transactions concerning Society business
• reports on indoor and field meetings
• full report on exhibits at the annual exhibition, a valuable source of data and other information
• book reviews

Some editions contain colour plates.

Examples of articles published in recent editions include:

• the distribution and habits of the Small Carpenter bee Hylaeus pectoralis in Britain the life cycle, distribution and habits of Hypena obsitalis in Devonshire
• the moths of Carlyon Bay, Cornwall
