This map shows the location of the Imperial College buildings and the surrounding streets. Pedestrians can enter from either end of Imperial College Road. Entrance to the Sherfield Building is at the north-west corner of the Queens Lawn. The nearest Underground stations are South Kensington and Gloucester Road (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines) A pedestrian subway (walk right to the end, about five minutes) links South Kensington station with Imperial College, emerging in Exhibition Road. Kensington Road is served by bus routes 9, 10 and 52, the Cromwell Road by route 74 and Queen's Gate by routes 70 and 360. There is car parking space (entry from Exhibition Road) in Imperial College Road, which is in the College grounds, and at the back of the Sherfield Building (to reach this drive to the end and then turn right.) There is a rear entrance to the building. The parking charges are £3 for 1h, £6 for 2h, £11 for 4h, £16 for 6h, £21 for 9h and £26 for 12h. Parking meters are in operation in the surrounding streets where the charges are £3 for 1 hour with the maximum stay ranging from 2 to 4 hours. Parking restrictions at the southern end of Queen's Gate, and in the streets to the west, end at 1.30pm. Elsewhere restrictions can remain in force until 6.30 pm. We strongly advise members traveling by car to consider sharing to reduce the cost or to park in the suburbs and continue the journey by Underground. The Congestion Charge does not apply at weekends.

Please remember to sign the attendance book on arrival. This is our only record of how many members and guests attend the Exhibition, and the information helps in planning future Exhibitions. The book will be on the table to the left of the entrance to the hall.
The collection of subscriptions at the Exhibition eases the Assistant Treasurer's work. He will be grateful if members will pay their subscriptions at the table to the right of the entrance.
We are asked every year to encourage those attending to wear name badges. These will be available by the door.
