WANTED – NEW JOURNAL PROOF READERS

We now need a few more proof readers for the Society’s journal.  Each proof reader should expect to receive between 5 – 8 manuscripts in pdf form before each journal issue i.e.  four times per year.  The main aim is to spot any glaring typos or missing words which both the author and editor have missed – simply because they are so familiar with the text and ‘know’ which words are coming next and fail to see what has actually been compiled. Software rarely but regularly misinterprets symbols and accents.  Fresh eyes spot errors easily.  

These duties take up a couple of hours at most each time and you get the privilege of knowing the latest news before it is published. Please contact the editor on:
